In addition to the maintenance and expansion of the school, H.A.P.P.Y., Inc. is accepting donations for the following future projects:

Medical Clinic / Ambulance –The high level of sickness and frequent violence due to war leave many citizens of Tembien in desperate need of medical assistance (video at right). The nearest medical facility, however, is two hours from the village. There is no ambulance, so bodies are carried by foot or in the back of trucks. Many die during this trip that could otherwise have been saved if treated more promptly. H.A.P.P.Y., Inc. plans to build an on-site clinic to care for children and to obtain an ambulance. An ambulance would be used to not only transport the sick while the clinic is being built, but to also take those who need more intensive care to a different facility.

Local Mining Opportunities – Ethiopia is an area rich in natural resources that lie unutilized. H.A.P.P.Y., Inc. is hoping to find investors interested in tapping into these resources, which would provide greater economic income for the nation as well as employment opportunities for its citizens who struggle to sustain their families.
