buried in a cave at Mount Nebo in western Jordan by the River Jordan, other sources say that it may be in a completely different area altogether.4 "According to some Muslim scholars, the Ark has a religious basis in Islam, and Islam gives it special significance. Muslims believe that it will be found by Mahdi near the end of times from Lake Tiberias."5 Interestingly enough, all of these speculations have a common denominator—there is access to any of these destinations by some nearby water source.
The Nile River begins in Ethiopia and pours out to the delta at Egypt. Access can go both ways via the Red Sea, therefore making it plausible to presently have the Ark of the Covenant rest in Ethiopia.
Ethiopia, although a humble country, has ultimately been at the frontier of our humanity. It is only wise to not lose our own.
